This job posting is for our Formulation floor on 2nd shift that runs 7 days a week. Team members work a rotational schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the following week with the potential to work additional hours. Work hours are generally 1:40 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m./midnight. The base rate of pay is $19.85/hour, plus a shift premium of $1.00/hour. Team members must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Job Responsibilities:

• For each batch of product, checks the scales for accuracy of weight
  

• Checks with the Blender Operator to ensure correct soy has been selected and correct ratio of soy and water
  

• Documents amount of soy and water added to each batch
  

• Blends the soy and water for the correct amount of time
  

• Follows Blender Operator's instructions closely
  

• All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to personal safety and food safety
  

• Complies with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reports known or suspected violations
  

• Attends monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT)
  

• Performs other duties as assigned
  

Job Requirements:

• At least three (3) months of relevant operator experience with one or a combination of employers
  

• At least four (4) months of continuous employment with one employer in the past two (2) years
  

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, but not required
  

• Basic computer skills to navigate systems and perform data entry
  

• Experience with inventory control methods preferred
  

• Ability to record information using company-provided forms and procedures
  

• Ability to accurately perform math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
  

• Ability to report to work as scheduled and work scheduled hours to meet job expectations, have flexibility to work other jobs, as needed, and work weekends and overtime, as needed
  

• Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively with all team members and management
  

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  

• Ability to identify, act with a sense of urgency, and resolve problems/inconsistencies, getting help from management or others, as needed
  

• Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching above, below, and at shoulder level
  

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs. below waist, at waist level, and above shoulder level
  

• Ability to work while standing or walking on hard floors for a period of up to 8-10 hours/day
  

• Ability to climb up and down stairs/ladders to get to/from work areas and to work at elevated levels and various heights and in confined spaces, as needed
  

• Ability to work in an environment where extreme temperatures range seasonally from hot/warm to cold/freezing, where conditions may be damp and/or wet, and concrete floors may be slippery in some areas
  

• Ability to perform repetitive motions, flex/grip with wrists/hands, and use tools (e.g., box knife, metal scraper)
  

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net / beard guard, steel-toed boots, and gloves
