RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Security Manager in Sierra Vista, AZ.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Network Security Manager to oversee the security of our computer networks, systems, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats. This is an intermediate-level role that requires a strong technical background in network devices and security, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Security Manager will implement and maintain network security safeguards; To include keeping track of and providing STIG checklists, POAMs, RA memorandums, IAVMs, and ACAS scans for all NTD teams
  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities in network systems and applications
  • Conduct regular security audits both internally and externally to include participation in CORAs, SAVs, SCA-Vs, and CSSP inspections
  • Keep track of NTD assets, diagrams, and device life cycles
  • As a Network Security Manager, you will maintain a regular patching cycle for NTD assets
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the organization's security posture remains effective


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma/GED with a minimum of four (4) of years of direct, relevant professional work experience, and security+ certification; Or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field from a nationally accredited educational institution with a minimum of three (3) years of direct, relevant professional work experience, and security+ certification; Or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field from a nationally accredited educational institution with a minimum of two (2) years of direct, relevant professional work experience, and Security+ certification
Professional certifications:
  • Prior to start of employment the Network Administrator must possess one (1) professional certification identified in DISA IASE IAT Level II DoD 8570.01 Approved Baseline (Security+ CE)
  • Within 60 days of start of employment the Network Administrator must obtain one (1) professional certification identified in DISA IASE CSSP Infrastructure Support DoD 8570.01 Approved Baseline (CySA+)
  • Within 180 days of start of employment the Network Administrator must obtain one (1) Computing Environment certification identified on the CE Requirements List (CCNA Preferred) (Network+ CE, CCNA, CCNP)
Other Requirements:
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Must obtain ACAS Operator Certificate
  • All other duties/responsibilities as assigned


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
