Primary duties include:

Inspects metal and/or beverage cans for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments.

Examines material or product for surface defects and incomplete finishes.

Communicates known defects to those that need to know verbally or over PA.

Compares product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.

Verifies specified dimensions of product or material using inspection equipment.

Rejects defective parts and marks type of defect on part container of parts or inspection tag.

Works with other inspectors and coworkers as a team.

KEY JOB COMPETENCIES/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Be able to work 12 hr 4 day week rotating shift.

Be able to pass a hair follicle drug test and a background check.

Have a high school diploma or GED.

Able to stand for a long duration of time.

Able to bend over and rotate body repeatedly.

Able to lift 40 pounds, push/pull up to 75 pounds.

Exposure to heat, cold, vibrations, odors, fumes, and loud noise.

The starting hourly base rate for this role is $23.14 and goes up to $33.06 dependent on years of service within the company. The company also offer a Success Share Bonus that is dependent upon meeting metrics and targets. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
