Job Title: Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant RN

Duties & Responsibilities: The Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse (BMT RN) provides specialized nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), including both autologous and allogeneic bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplants. This position requires expert clinical skills, the ability to manage complex care needs, and a compassionate approach to providing care to children and their families during the transplant process.

The Pediatric BMT RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care before, during, and after transplantation. This includes providing education to patients and families, assessing clinical conditions, administering medications and treatments, and managing complications associated with transplantation and chemotherapy.

This is a 10 week assignment working 3 12 hour nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years experience
• Peds Hem/Onc experience preferred
• Peds Critical care experience preferred
• BMT-required
• Peds BMT-required
• BLS-required
• APHON-required
• CPHON-preferred
• PALS-preferred
