Location: Montville, NJ
Description: Our largest client has an opening for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Pine Brook, NJ!

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team.

Shift: 8 hour shifts between 3pm - 11:30pm

Type: Contract to Hire

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prescription Processing:
  
  • Retrieve medication from stock.
  • Count and package orders for pharmacist review.
  • Prepare prescription orders for verification.
• Inventory Management:
  
  • Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
  • Replenish work station supplies (vials, caps, labels, etc.) as needed.
• Customer Service:
  
  • Occasionally reach out to patients for customer service calls.
  • Inquire about shipped orders.
• Logistics and Efficiency:
  
  • Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients.
  • Work within multiple computer systems to provide accurate medication details.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• Current New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy data entry experience.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Previous work in a mail order setting.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical equations and computer skills.

Soft Skills:

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation.
