Political Action Committee Director
Location: 1001 Pennsylvania Ave NW STE 710 Washington, DC.
The PAC Director is responsible for managing and directing the administration, fundraising and compliance for the company's political action committees (PACs) and corporate political contributions, including disbursements, reports, and filing processes with applicable state and federal regulatory entities and additional public reporting as determined by the company's senior leadership, board of directors and/or PAC board.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Actively raises money for the company's PAC from executives, associates and business entities to support and enhance the Public Affairs department's ability to successfully lobby federal and state legislation and regulation that impacts core business operations and growth.
- Serves as Assistant Treasurer of the primary PAC, and supports operations of the PAC Board.
- Manages all federal lobbying reporting and compliance for the company's registered lobbyists and executives and associates who engage in lobbying activities.
- Oversees dotted-line support for administrative and fundraising support of PAC operations.
- Develops and executes strategies to raise money for the company's PACs.
- Manages budgeting and operations of multiple PACs and corporate contributions for the company.
- Conducts periodic analysis of internal and competitor political contributions to share strategic insights and identify and implement best practices.
- Develops and delivers internal and external presentations on the company's PACs and fundraising best practices.
- Develops the company's annual political giving report.
Minimum Requirements:- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience managing a corporate PAC and political and lobbying compliance; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:- Completion of PAC compliance training via the National Association of Business PACs is preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $120,520 to $180,780.
Locations: District of Columbia (Washington, DC).
