The Role:

Our Product Line Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a heat trace controls product strategy for growth in Chromalox's target market sectors. The manager will work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to continually refine the product vision.

Additionally, they will oversee our controls product line throughout all phases of the heat trace controls product lifecycle, from product conception to discontinuation, by developing a deep understanding of the needs of the industrial and commercial heat trace controls markets through the voice of the customer, key personas, use cases, and value drivers for Chromalox products.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate a clear vision for control products utilizing product road maps.
  • Lead cross-functional team to develop and launch new products and services and take ownership of critical activities, including management of the NPD funnel, vitality tracking, pre- and post- market launch, and development of essential documents, including the business case, project briefs, and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop new and innovative control components, including PCBs and microprocessors.
  • Partner with our finance team to develop reports on monitoring and addressing key metrics, such as revenue and profitability.
  • Drive product revenue and profitability for premium engineered electric thermal solutions through price analysis and strategic price management.
  • Support SIOP activities, collaborating with sales, business development, and operations teams to develop forecasts and ensure alignment on needs and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and demand generation teams to increase market presence and build a pipeline.
  • Educate and motivate sales and customer success organizations so they can effectively understand and articulate the value of Chromalox's offerings.
  • To ensure sales success, create and manage the right sales tools, marketing collateral, and enablement processes.

Required Experience
  • At least 5+ years of Marketing and Sales experience in a related industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or engineering or equivalent experience, as well as an MBA, is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience effectively managing complex projects and executing the plan on time and on/under budget.
  • Experience successfully partnering with diverse groups and cultures and participating in cross-functional teams to meet goals and objectives.
  • An analytically focused critical thinker who uses data to solve problems and decide project priorities.
  • Deep knowledge of control system hardware and architecture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrates ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role requires up to 20% travel, primarily within the U.S. However, there will also be opportunities for international travel.
