Description: Our client is currently seeking a Product Owner ON-SITE(Metro Providence RI area) & REMOTE
Candidates should have some System Analysis or Business Analysis background or experience.
This will help them grasp the interconnected nature of our products as we seem to be splitting further apart
We have found candidates that have Product Management experience are not going to enjoy the Product Owner hands-on work we need done.

They are more suited to overall management of the product itself and not write requirements/user stories etc. which is our greatest need.

Thus we really are after true Product Owner experience if we can get it.

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to manage our cloud-based draw game management portfolio.

As a Product Owner in the Product Management team you will be responsible for executing the product vision, strategy and roadmap for products in the game management area.

The product portfolio includes a hybrid OLTP platform (individually deployed black-box product that is customizable through defined APIs), productized Game Management and Promotions Management GUIs (a single deployment serving all customers), a Ticket Security Solution and a Winning Numbers RNG.

Your contribution to the product vision and strategy is an essential component in how you will manage the roadmap and customer engagements, providing you with the ability to shape new features and help customers make the most of existing releases.

Reporting to the Product Manager you will be involved in working with our clients and engineering teams to own, shape and drive the products we create.

You will have the autonomy to own and drive the release scoping and customer engagements for your assigned products.

You will oversee the development of these products from start to finish, working to establish business requirements, identify new functionality and enhancements, manage the grooming of the feature backlog, establish release scope, as well as develop and prioritize capabilities, features, and stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. Through collaborative relationships across the enterprise and engaging with our customers (internal teams and our lottery partners) you will help us utilize the products in your portfolio to achieve their business goals and deliver the desired business outcomes.

Working directly in customer implementation projects for your products, allows you to bring back to the R&D backlog potential new features and functions identified for your products.

As such, we are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset who is happy to be flexible and take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of our products.

Focus on both Product Development (for a new cloud-enabled retail draw game solution) and Product Adoption (of the cloud solution with customers), the Product Owner is the key role in bringing an outside-in perspective to our product roadmaps and vision.

As a product owner you will:

•Understand and help contribute to the product manager's vision for the team's products

•Lead customer engagements to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements, arrange and conduct product demonstrations and workshops

•Take ownership of your products, existing or new, in an agile team: elaborate capabilities and features into atomic user stories, prioritize them based on lottery customer feedback, market trends and business value; oversee the delivery of the team backlog and acceptance testing of your products to the shelf

•Oversee all stages of product creation (including design and development) by liaising closely with product engineering leaders who will manage the day-to-day engineering efforts
