Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Production supervisor
Supervises: Production Employees Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm - 5am (Four 10-hours shifts, Wednesdays and weekends off)
General Description: The Production Supervisor's primary responsibilities are to lead a team to ensure production goals for given shift are accomplished, ensure a safe work environment, and ensure cheese/whey is produced following safe quality food manufacturing practices. This role fosters an environment of trust and open communication and develops talent for the future of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports in alignment with business objectives and required staff development.

• Evaluate and appraise employees' performance and follow-up with proper documentation including the 120-performance day review and stay interviews.

• Administer and document disciplinary procedures, both verbal and written, when necessary.

• Maintains communication between all the departments within the facilities.

• Plan, assign and direct the work of the team for the achievement of operational goals and objectives.

• Assist in the development and implementation of processes and policies related to production.

• Support and initiate change in the production to promote continuous improvement. Use P&L results and key performance indicators to improve plant performance and profitability.

• Provide ongoing communication of depts. performance toward its key measures to senior management.

• Work with human resources, safety and quality leadership to ensure that the plant is operating in compliance with customer and government regulations. (USDA, State, FDA, OSHA, HACCP, SQF)
