Seeking a Project Engineer with experience in the electrical construction industry for an Irvine based company. Field experience with Electrical Construction Projects required.

Pay: $70-95k -Based on experience - Growth Potential

Location: Irvine
Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints for accuracy and completeness
Determine fixture, device and equipment quantities as well as power requirements
Be able to calculate wire sizing and Volt drop percentage with the assistance of a program
Utilize takeoff software to provide total counts and measurements
Maintain and Keep track of Bid Invitations and assist with prioritizing bid pipeline
Review and send drawings to Suppliers for quotes, file and organize quotes upon receipt
Qualifications
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
Ability to read and interpret Structural, Architectural and MEP drawings
Experience with Quantity takeoff and utilizing estimating software; Bluebeam Preferable
Ability to analyze and overlay new drawings to identify changes from previous sets
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet stringent deadlines
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in Value Engineering recommendations
