Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division is looking for a Project Management Coordinator for our Corinth, Mississippi facility. This position will work to streamline the process, helps in project estimation and planning, defines goals and objectives, improves the quality of the project. The lack at any of the stages can lead to failure of the project, that's why the Project Coordinator plays an important role in the project's success.
The Project Management Office (PMO) responsible to maintain benchmarks for Project Management. Ensure that all the processes, operations, quality of deliverables are managed efficiently.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Facilitate small/medium projects, lead chartering sessions, develop/validate network diagrams, lead integration & compression sessions
Provide overview for the departments and ability to support them with small/medium projects
Resolve issues by selecting the best solution from a few choices
Serve as an expert in Project Management tools & processes
Facilitate small/medium projects independently
Co-facilitate large complex projects such as CPI, CPS, HR and cost reduction projects
Be responsible for Lean Assessment scores management and coordination in the facility
Create accurate and detailed schedules. The incumbent will capture all information, interpret, and identify relationships between activities.
Work closely with other leaders in selecting projects and in planning the systems work that will be developed and implemented.
Ensure cost saving projects detail planning
Work with functional areas to develop their detailed activities and schedule
Utilize Power BI to display benefits metrics
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
3-5 years of experience in various disciplines gained through previous staff assignments and a bachelor's degree in Business or with technical focus (i.e. engineering)
Experience with project management software
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Black belt training
Strong analytical and organizational skills and have strong oral and written communication abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision
Ability to work multitask effectively and lead/facilitate meetings. Also required to be a team player with excellent people skills.
