A commercial general contractor is looking to add a Project Manager to their team in Macon, GA. This company handles a variety of project types, including ground-up construction, renovations, structural steel, wood-framed, and cast-in-place concrete projects. They need a Project Manager to lead project teams and deliver high-quality projects in the region.

Your new role

The Project Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of the construction process for various projects. You will be responsible for contract management, cost control, schedule coordination, safety compliance, and quality assurance. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust throughout the project lifecycle. Experience with GSFIC (Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission) managed projects and the correctional/detention market is a plus.

What you'll need to succeed

To be eligible for the Project Manager role, you must have 5 to 10+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry. You should be capable of managing multiple projects at various stages and mentoring assistant project managers or project engineers. Experience in ground-up construction, renovations, structural steel, wood-framed, and cast-in-place concrete projects is essential. Additionally, you should have excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
