Purchasing Assistant (Homebuilder)
(Off-Site purchasing)
Summary
Help the purchasing department with various clerical tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following are important tasks for this job. You may also have other duties as needed:
- Keep vendor packets and qualifications up to date.
- Request pricing and manage any price changes.
- Update features lists as needed.
- Keep project vendor lists current.
- Price and distribute design changes.
- Ensure all plans are updated and available.
- Create binders for new project products.
- Keep the office organized.
- Handle all vendor paperwork.
- Process purchase orders, change orders, and notices to proceed.
- Create and maintain contract files.
- Look into any invoice or purchase order issues when needed.
- Prepare bid packages.

To do this job well, you must complete each task satisfactorily. The following requirements show the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed.
Education and/or Experience
-You need a high school diploma or GED, along with six months to one year of related experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
-Must have homebuilder experience
-Homebuilder industry experience is required
-$25K bonus
-Remote: NO
