Volt is hiring for a QA Manager for a company located in Compton, CA.
As a QA Manageryou will:
- Notify offices all vendors of testing requirements and customer protocols.
- Notify offices the testing deadlines to vendors and enforce need dates set by customers.
- Prepare transmittal paperwork for all testing samples being sent to third-party testing laboratories.
- Perform in-house testing as needed.
- Prepare and inspect (when required and applicable) testing samples before forwarding them to third-party testing laboratories. To inspect and check testing samples for proper labeling, finished dimensions, and packaging prior to departure to laboratory.
- Inform vendors of any construction issues with products and advise ways to correct/prevent the issue.
- Maintain a testing/inspection log of all products sent out.
- Provide vendors testing results and coordinate with the offices appropriate follow up on failure reports through passed testing reports are received.
- Inform vendors and Shanghai office of required replenishment testing submissions as they occurred to follow-up until its completion.
- Communicate vendors and Shanghai office non-conformance quality control inspection reports, follow-up, and verify completion of required improvements.
- Coordinate with Shanghai office to keep records and updates of all vendors' factory compliance documentation.
- To coordinate factory audits with Shanghai Quality Control team.
- Provide assistance reviewing content information during packaging routing.
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager in other duties as needed.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8 hours per day
The ideal candidate will have: - Experience working in Warehouse/Manufacturing environment
Schedule: 7am to 330pm
Days: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $29-31 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
