Location: St. Louis, MO
Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA/UAT Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases based on their review of requirements documents and interviews with users. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.

This is an onsite position in St. Louis, MO - seeking local candidates eligible for w2 contract structure (no c2c).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Requirements: Analyze requirements documents to understand the scope and objectives of the software.
• User Interviews: Conduct interviews with users to gather insights and understand user needs and expectations.
• Test Case Development: Develop comprehensive test cases that cover all aspects of the software functionality.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases, document results, and report any defects or issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
• Defect Management: Track and manage defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and any issues encountered.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/UAT testing.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
