Description:Justification
Need dedicated person to receive/store supplies at the Holy Cross Healthplex and distribute to relevant departments.

The hours for this position are day shift: 9a - 1p (somewhat flexible)

What you will do:

Inventories, issues, restocks, and distributes supplies/linen to all nursing units and ancillary departments.

  • Accurately distributes and restocks assigned supply carts completely daily with the proper documentation submitted.
  • Completes supply and linen carts, requisitions and restocking assigned areas in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Performs the communication and dispatch function as per department procedures when scheduled.
  • Provides all nursing units and ancillary departments with accurate information regarding ordering procedures, back orders, delivery schedules, and general product information.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping functions as required for department Operations within job scope. Maintains a clean and hazard free work environment.
  • Maintains exchange carts and bulk shelving free of dust. Maintains official documents and print out files.
  • Maintains files current and correct, allowing for easy retrieval of information when required.
  • Performs data entry as required in a systematic and timely manner. Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by Supervisor.
Education & Min. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, dolly, lifts, scales, and exchange carts) is necessary.
  • Ability to use office equipment (copier, phones) is necessary.
