Position Summary: Perform administrative duties including greeting and supplying information to families, visitors, and therapists. Scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, billing patients, and organizing and recording medical reports and correspondence.
Job description:
• Coordinate the schedule of 20+ therapists
• Schedule appointments for the therapists to optimize patient satisfaction and clinician time
• Answer telephones and provide information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
• Assists patients with insurance papers and billing questions
• Follow up with patients by phone and email
• Accepts payments to be relayed to billing and maintains petty cash fund
• Sorts and routes all incoming mail. Opens office mail. Prepares outgoing mail to post office clerk at end of day.
• Participates in Admin meetings as required
