Position Summary:
The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a talented, highly motivated Research Assistant to join the multi-disciplinary laboratory of Dr. Kailin Yang. The Research Assistant works with the Principal Investigator and other scientists on preclinical studies involving artificial intelligence and biomarker development for the treatment of cancer and other disorders. The Research Assistant will also be responsible for overseeing lab safety and working with environmental health and safety. Their excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate the PI's detailed work will ensure they the necessary resources and support are in place for the PI to maintain focus on their core priorities. Excellent oral and written communication and computer skills are necessary.
