Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Pathology in the Biological Sciences Division invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Immunology. Applicants' research may approach immunology from any combination of organismal, cellular, molecular, computational or genomic perspectives, in animal models or in humans, in health or disease conditions. Appointment will be at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
The Immunology faculty in the Department of Pathology are members of the interdepartmental Committee on Immunology, which provides a collaborative and highly multidisciplinary environment for research and training. The University is also committed to providing a strong environment for faculty mentoring and career development. Competitive research space and start-up funding are provided. Most university divisions and centers are contained within one compact campus in Chicago's vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent.
