The Research Technician will be responsible for assisting the PI and other lab members in developing and optimizing innovative diagnostic technologies within the Wang Research Lab. Research tasks will focus on diagnostic assay/sensor components identification, optimization and integration, and will extend to related areas if necessary and related to the missions of the research program. Job activities include performing daily wet bench investigations, designing and conducting experiments, generating and analyzing data, writing reports, assisting the PI with daily lab operations, including but not limited to obtaining and maintaining lab supplies and equipment, orienting and mentoring students, and performing other duties as assigned by the PI. Research outcomes are publications, grants, contracts and technology products.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications -
B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related disciplines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Prior experience in lab management and operation; 1-3 years of research experience post-graduation.
