General Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Global Sales Organization by assisting in the development of strategic plans and business processes using Data science and Business Intelligence technologies focused on the implementation of effective sales strategies to meet company objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Employs data science tools and techniques (e.g. SAS, SQL, VB.net, R and Python) to build meaningful information from multiple data sources to support the sales management business needs.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in defining datasets from several data sources and collaborates closely with cross functional and IT departments.
  • Writes and interprets complex queries to solve GSO's Strategic planning activities, reports, and solve the business problems.
  • Communicates results using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SPOTFIRE and Excel.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of sales compensation and performance models for the purpose of connecting and evaluating sales incentive programs with actual sales performance data.
  • Reviews and analyzes current business processes and reports.
  • Streamlines existing reporting and recommends improvements or enhancements to support ongoing sales strategies and business plans.
  • Prioritizes business problems/requirements and leads investigations into multiple data sources to solve complex business problems.
  • Ensures that sales related work activities are performed in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
  • Develops and implements other projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, computer science, engineering or related discipline.
  • Four (4) years of directly related experience, preferably in the same industry and competitive marketing environment.
  • Strong human relations, communications skills, verbal and written, and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, customer-service orientation and decision-making skills.
  • Position requires the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Pay Range: 57836.00 (Min) - 83787.00 (Mid) - 109739.00 (Max) Yearly
