Location: Holy Cross Health clinic a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
Description:
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Reporting to the Director of OB/GYN Clinic
- The Secretary will work closely with the OB/GYN Clinic staff to provide critical prenatal and follow-up care to uninsured and financially limited women.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective and timely communication within the department.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Organize, maintain, and update data and related records accurately.
- Perform clerical and support services as directed.
- Assist in selected and limited clinical activities as needed.
- Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
What You Will Need:
- Certificate of completion in medical secretary training from a vocational or hospital-based program preferred.
- Previous experience as a unit secretary, administrative partner, Health Unit Coordinator, or CNA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in the English language.
- Strong visual and auditory acuity.
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
Pay rate: $17.58- $22.71
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
