Our client is seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in information security, data administration, and IT auditing. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the information security environment and developing measures to safeguard information against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the information security environment and assisting with the development of security measures
- Working with various teams to implement and enforce security policies
- Leading the development of information security technology tasks and projects
- Generating, coordinating, and maintaining project plans
- Developing cost analysis estimates for information security tasks and projects
- Defining, redesigning, and documenting security processes and procedures
- Assisting in determining the cause of security-related events and identifying potential security-related events
- Assisting in developing and maintaining effective disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in a related field
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and formal training
- Experience in data administration and security methods
- Familiarity with multi-platform environments and IT auditing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Technical expertise in current technical/functional area
