Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and align data strategies with business goals.
Design data architectures that support scalability, security, and performance spanning multiple cloud environments.
Azure Platform Expertise:
Possess expertise in Azure data offerings such as Azure SQL MI, Azure Data Lake, Azure cache for Redis, Azure PostgreSQL.
Leverage cloud-native services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
Data Integration:
Implement data integration solutions to enable seamless flow of information across the organization.
Ensure data integration processes are efficient, reliable, and maintain data integrity.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Scalability and Performance Optimization:
Optimize data architectures for performance and scalability.
Implement solutions that handle increasing data volumes and user demands.
Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices.
Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
Collaboration:
Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data solutions into broader enterprise architectures.
Required skills and qualifications
3 or more years of SQL server experience
1 or more years of PostGres experience
1 or more years of NoSQL experience (ElasticSearch, Redis)
1 or more years of ETL data pipeline development
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and scripting languages.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience in data architecture, database design, and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with the Azure data offerings landscape
Strong understanding of data warehousing, big data, and data lake concepts.
Certifications in cloud platforms are a plus.
