Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a local government client in the search for their next Senior Financial Analyst. Candidates will need at least ten years of experience in project management and budget analysis to be considered. Heavy accounting experience is needed for the role with a history of managing budgets, making financial projections, and coordinating projects, all while working within project deadlines. Candidates must be current citizens of the United States. This is a hybrid role that will require an in-office presence in Washington, DC. Essential job duties and necessary experience

• Managing budget and future projections for software projects
• Managing how budget impacts project scope and timelines
• Analyzing financial data to identify root causes of trends and communicate those to project team and leadership
• Present findings to management using a variety of data visualization techniques
• Strong accounting experience
• Ability to handle administrative duties such as time-card collection
• Project management, project coordination, such as release planning and coordinating UAT with clients
• Agile, DevOps experience is preferred
