RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a large Finance company with international operations in Boston, MA, is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor. This is a dynamic position with many business analysis projects associated with the position. We offer an environment where people learn and apply their knowledge of business to analyze and apply risk mitigants or realize opportunities. We perform risk-based audits and develop global best practices. Responsibilities:- Participate on audits of wholly owned subsidiaries, business units, horizontal reviews, and special projects
- Perform audit testing and document audit procedures following the department's audit methodology
- Document process/workflows and write narratives
- Development of risk and control matrices and audit programs
- Responsible for communicating findings and suggestions to process owners and management
- Establish effective relationships with business unit staff and management
- Obtain a detailed understanding of each business unit's processes, market, and industry practices
- Validate resolution of findings
- Perform root cause analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Professional certification such as CPA/CIA/CISA/CFA
- 5+ years of experience with internal audit, external audit, or consulting
- Exceptional business acumen and a strong willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Operational & Compliance Audits
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
