The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer service. We are searching for a dynamic, seasoned ecommerce professional to join our Category Management team as a Senior Manager, Business Strategy.
You will drive major category initiatives, identify growth and change opportunities, collaborate with leaders across all categories, and develop and execute strategic frameworks across the Walmart Marketplace team!
What you'll do...
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; develop and communicate business plans and priorities; remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance; provide resources; identify performance standards; measure progress and adjust performance accordingly; develop contingency plans; and demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.
- Manage the development and implementation of process improvements and change initiatives to improve business results by overseeing evaluation and execution of multiple projects; direct in consultation with leadership regarding solutions; review reports; leverage customer and operational needs across the division to identify barriers and obstacles that impact performance across the division; and benchmark competitors' programs.
- Provide recommendations to senior management by reviewing feedback; assess risks; collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop program enhancements; manage the reporting and communication of key performance metrics; ensure alignment across functional units; and communicate strategic direction to key stakeholders.
- Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost- effectiveness; and participate in and support community outreach events.
- Direct the development, prioritization, and execution of key business strategies and communication by leading cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes; oversee the development of business programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content.

- You have proven analytical skills to interpret insights coming from various initiatives, along with a mindset for continuous learning and improvement
- You are structured in your thought process and can break down large problems into smaller simpler problems
- You have helped to develop strategic roadmaps in the past, on the basis of business cases and data-informed insights
- You're someone who can execute, with strong discipline and organization skills; someone who gets things done
- You are someone who can work independently to identify business trends and implications in order to create a clear business narrative for peers and leadership on a regular basis.
- You can collaborate in a highly cross-functional environment, often in complex organizational matrices
- You've shown an ability to build relationships and influence with and without authority
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate at appropriate levels of detail, based on the audience
- You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-08479/San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
