Your new company

My client are a leading national heavy civil construction general contractor with offices in NYC and Long Island. Due to a number of recent MTA / NYCT project wins, including a $300M + project in NYC, they are seeking a Construction Superintendent with experience in Heavy Civil Construction.

Your new role

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects from start to finish
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety
• Supervise and manage on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors
• Ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Ensure that all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and other stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of construction industry regulations and standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred, but not required.
