Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Technical Architect within our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of end-to-end solutions that address complex business requirements while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Provide guidance on technology choices, architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, monolithic), and system integrations.
  • Develop and communicate architecture blueprints, system designs, and high-level solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Serve as the bridge between development teams, operations, security, and other departments to ensure alignment with the broader project objectives
  • Assess and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet project requirements.
  • Lead the development of prototypes or PoCs to validate new technologies or design approaches before full implementation
  • Establish architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects
  • Advocate for high coding standards, security measures, and best practices in software development, including documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to the architecture, including scalability, security vulnerabilities, and operational risks.
  • Oversee the entire project life cycle, from requirement gathering and design to deployment and post-deployment support.
  • Ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, engineers, and developers.
  • Conduct internal training sessions to share knowledge of new technologies, tools, or best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, decision-making processes, and system integrations
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to senior management, ensuring that all key stakeholders are informed of progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in IT industry
  • 15 + years of experience coding with multiple programming languages, cloud platforms like AWS, enterprise-level software, and modern development frameworks (e.g., DevOps, Agile, CI/CD)
  • in depth knowledge Vue.js, Node.js, MarkLogic, Apache NiFi, RHEL (RedHat Enterprise Linux).
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC), microservices and SOA
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent understanding on low code/ no code platforms
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps, code management and release management
  • Good understanding of JIRA as a project management tool

Preferred:
  • Domain knowledge of Integrated Tax Systems.
  • Extensive public sector experience.
  • Certified in AWS certified solutions Architect, RedHat certified architect
  • Certified Scrum Master

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current

annual range is $157,000 to $254,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
