Position Description:
** This is a 2nd shift (evening) position. Performs duties to prepare and receive shipments of materials by unloading and loading trucks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads materials for inbound and outbound trucks
- Verifies condition and quantity of materials being shipped or received
- Moves, stores, stacks, and delivers materials and products to designated storage or production areas
- Operates a material handling equipment such as forklifts and walkers
- Scans and verifies data in Adage matches actual shipments as needed
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Basic working knowledge of computer applications
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds daily, approximately 5% of each day
- Able to lift/move in excess of 50 up to 500 pounds 1-2 times per month
- Walking and/or standing 90% of the day
Training Period:
- Minimum 90 days meeting all above requirements
