Job Description:

As a Software Engineering Consultant, you will:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.
• Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis, data extraction/manipulation, and loading routines using SQL, Teradata, database structures, and data warehouses.
• Communicate results, concepts, and issues/challenges effectively with partners, peers, and non-technical marketing/business audiences through executive-ready presentations.
• Apply statistical and basic statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, decision tree, random forest, clustering, segmentation).
• Develop new and novel analytics approaches or data visualizations to deliver insights to the target audience.
• Build strategic analysis using customer profiling, business segmentation, heuristics, inferential statistics, and RFM analysis.
• Utilize machine learning techniques such as segmentation, regression, decision trees, forecasting, and clustering.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis, data extraction/manipulation, and loading routines using SQL, Teradata, database structures, and data warehouses.
• Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to convey results, concepts, and issues/challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with statistical and basic statistical modeling techniques.
• Strong storytelling competencies to create impactful analytics approaches or data visualizations.
• Good knowledge of building strategic analysis using various statistical methods.
• Experience with machine learning techniques.
