Role Description and Responsibilities:

As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL code and related reports. Your primary duties will include:

• Developing new and modifying existing T-SQL / PL-SQL code.
• Tuning stored procedures and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Creating complex SSIS packages using data from various sources.
• Developing advanced SSRS reports.
• Optimizing the performance of SSRS reports and related SQL code.
• Interpreting business requirements provided in written or verbal form.
• Actively gathering and documenting complex technical requirements through discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Clearly explaining intricate technical problems and concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Thoroughly documenting new and existing work.
• Working efficiently under tight deadlines with limited documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with databases such as DataStax, DB2, and LUW.
• Proficient in SQL development.
• Ability to collaborate closely with DBAs to write complex SQL scripts.
• Experience with replication tools.
