How you will make an impact:

As a Sr. HR Project Manager, you will support the Business Transformation Organization (BTO) with global moves, product transfers, site expansions and other restructuring projects in the Life Sciences Solutions (LSG) and Laboratory Products (LPG) Groups. You will act as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, coach and change agent for global business and functional leaders, and report to the Director, HR for Business Transformation. Core duties include planning, developing, and implementing HR workstream practices for establishing green field sites, growth of sites, product line transfers, and the integration of new acquisitions into the business. In this role you will be a collaborative partner and apply in-depth organizational change, project management, and broad-based HR expertise to help the organization achieve its objectives.

What you will provide:

Talent Advocate

Translate BTO strategic priorities into innovative HR actions and solutions that advance the attraction, motivation and retention of diverse, hardworking people resources. You will develop staffing plans that support talent attraction, including recruitment, assessment, and development to cultivate a positive culture built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement).

HR Analytics and Data Driven Insights

Use data and people metrics dashboards to support all stages of a business project and to offer guidance and counsel on people-related components topics. Drive continuous improvement of talent and business capabilities, as well as influence change in HR tactics/strategy as it related to your book of projects.

Consultation

Counsel employees and leadership in the navigation of employee relations matters during change. Guide leaders and teams on human capital strategies with a balance of innovation, risk, compliance, and culture shaping considerations that produce results.

Change Leadership

Serve as a motivator for change by designing change initiatives and management plans relative to assigned project. Offer guidance and support to minimize disruption during project execution and coach leaders on how to handle change most effectively.

Interpersonal Adaptability and Resolve

Build partnerships with site, HR, and business leaders to guide site activities, shape culture, and drive employee engagement. Establish an interpersonal network that aids in enabling the efficient execution of core project related activities

Project/Process Management Specific to BTO Alignment

  • Designs and develops operating models, structures, mechanisms, and workforce plans that drive operations' manufacturing strategies. Participates in activities such as mergers and acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, etc.
  • Influences the global/regional footprint for LSG and LPG manufacturing and develops optimal workforce model (e.g. headcount targets, spans, layers, total cost of workforce).
  • Leads cadence of cross-functional workstreams, including HR business transformation meetings and supervises critical metrics with the various teams and collaborators (HR, Platforms, Finance, Business), drives accountability, and ensures successful project outcomes.
  • Assesses the organization's current state and readiness for change.
  • Collaborates with managers to conduct risk analyses; makes recommendations, communicates plans and expectations, and implements required changes.
  • Identifies HR resources and prepares HR workstream for HR approval.
  • Partners with Finance to ensure that transformation activities are aligned to critical financial timelines to support the P&L and AOP
  • Participates in the design and input for decision-making process (governance)
  • Partners with BTO Project Managers to ensure complete alignment on project goals and charters.
  • Drives continuous improvement of the Global Moves process.
How you will get here:

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR and other professional certifications are desirable.
  • Experience of 6-10 years of comprehensive HR experience in a global environment; prior experience as a business partner.
  • Expertise in implementing business and change programs and processes that yield positive results.
  • Results oriented, comfortable working within a matrix and with HR COE partners to reach consensus and achieve favorable outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Significant proven experience of human capital practices and HR domain expertise, including (but not limited to): salary administration and performance review processes, performance management, proactive employee relations, issue investigation and resolution, and recruiting.
  • Understanding of global labor and employment law.
  • Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills, regularly turning data into insights and action.
  • Outstanding project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Effective consultation skills with the ability to influence leaders.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and act with a high level of tact and composure.
  • Skilled in cultivating and developing professional relationships with leadership, subordinates, and peers.
  • Travel may be required approximately 10% - 25%
