Volt is immediately hiring for a Sr Project Manager (Centrifugal Blowers) in Beasley, Texas. As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution of Centrifugal Blower projects. You will manage internal & external resources to ensure successful completion of projects and manage the client relationship, manage projects cash flows, budgets, and improve projects margins.
- Hybrid/Remote position
- This position can be remote with occasional travel to our Beasley, TX location, but hybrid close to one of our large facilities in the United States is preferred.
As a
Sr Project Manager (Centrifugal Blowers) you will:
- Lead Centrifugal Blower Projects, giving direction to all resources, to ensure the successful execution of all projects.
- Act as a single point of contact for the client during the execution lifecycle of the project and manage company/client relationship.
- Co-ordinate, prioritize, monitor, document and ensure cost targets, resource requirements, risks and contingencies are actively managed to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
- Manage projects through life cycle from sales handover to delivery to site. Support commissioning activities with information as required.
- On completion of the bid process, procure and maintain the deliveries of equipment in line with the project schedule.
- Attend all project related meetings, internal and external, to ensure compliance to our requirements
- Co-ordinate with Engineering the release of technical documentation to and from the client and provide prompt resolution of any identified issues.
- Interpret and implement contract terms & conditions including Letter of Credits, performance bonds and invoicing.
- Manage project cashflows, maintain up-to-date project costs and provide periodic reports on project status and performance to management and the client
- Resolve issues arising from deviations to original contractual requirements and the control of cost/schedule amendments for such deviations.
- Organize and co-ordinate all delivery and dispatch activities.
- Prepare Project Documentation for handover to Aftermarket/Commissioning Teams.
- Support cost breakdown structure principles by optimizing efficiencies through reduction of costs and improvement of quality and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelors Degree is required; MBA and Bachelors in an Engineering Major is preferred
- 5 years experience working with Centrifugal Blower projects
- 7 years Project Management Experience in a Manufacturing environment
- PMP Certification
Pay Rate: $110,000 - 140,000/year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
