Volt is immediately hiring for Sr Quality Specialist in Long Beach, CA.

As a Sr Quality Specialist you will:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost product/service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Create and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Have extensive knowledge and expertise in Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)
• Conduct quality audits and inspections, both within the organization and with suppliers, to pinpoint areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work alongside other teams in production, engineering, and customer service to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Examine data and performance metrics to track product/service quality, detect trends, and apply preventive measures.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality standards, processes, and techniques to foster a culture of quality excellence.
• Oversee the documentation and reporting of quality assurance activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans
• Performs other duties as assigned

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and relevant industry regulatory requirements.
• Over 8 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related role, with demonstrated experience in a senior or leadership position.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive quality improvements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm open to overtime

Pay Rate: $37.50 - 41.82 per hour
