Job Description

Summary:

We are currently looking for an operator who will perform ethylene oxide sterilizations of client medical devices following the operational functions of the sterilizers in accordance with client protocols. To be successful, the operator should demonstrate good critical thinking and judgment, and great attention to detail.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Completes work orders based on customer order requests/protocols.
• Performs testing of biological indicators and records results.
• Expected to frequently communicate with customers.
• Performs inventory and reordering from suppliers.
• Receives both supplier and customer products.
• Creates shipping documents when required.
• Maintains equipment and facility following daily cleaning procedures.
• Maintains documentation files and records.
• Interprets protocols and executes the performance qualification portion of a product validation process.
• Comply with Quality Management (QMS) procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or any related technical field (Bachelor's degree in science preferred).

Experience:

• Knowledge of QA/QC, document control, laboratory procedures, experimental and/or medical, and engineering/manufacturing design and development.
• Previous experience at a healthcare company in central supply preferred but not required.

Capabilities:

• High degree of organization skills, clear and precise written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO regulations pertaining to controlled documents.
• Administrative support, Microsoft Word, and Excel experience

Additional Information

Positions are full-time, working (Wed-Sun or Fri-Tue 8am-5pm),overtime as needed. Candidates currentlyliving within commutable distance to San Jose, CAare encouraged to apply.

$24 - $26/hour
