Who We Are:

Objectives of this Role:

  • Expected to develop talent in the craft trades,
  • Students will circulate through all areas of the Mechanical Fabrication Center and be exposed to all of the rigors the staff endures under close supervision.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Complete safety training.
  • Work in teams or alone with close supervision.
  • Train and operate tools and equipment specific to tasks.
  • Assist in staging and completing projects.
  • Sign out and log equipment and welding materials.
Requirements:
  • Must be pursuing an Associates degree in Machining, CNC, or related degree program.
  • 0 years: Welding processes familiarity.
  • Ability to work in a team safely.
  • Communication skills and ability to interface with different levels of staff.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
