POSITION SUMMARY

Strategic management of a category (or categories) of Vertiv Services, Electrical Reliability Services, High Voltage Maintenance, Vertiv Energy Systems, Chloride Industrial, and Critical Uptime Solutions subcontractors in the US, Canada, and Central/Latin America. Determine need, source, select, and put contracts in place with subcontractors. Ensure all 3rd party service providers have a Service Contractor Agreement (SCA) in place, approved health and safety Pre-Qualification Form (PQF), are trained to perform service on assigned equipment, and have acceptable Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as required by the SCA. Develop national network supporting Vertiv Services growth initiatives; negotiate competitive cost structure, scope of work (SOW), coverage assignments, and alternate support as needed in each territory. Interact directly with customers and Liebert Business Partners (LBP's) to develop SOW, unique site requirements, and service level agreements and effectively communicate them to service partners. Serve as customer interface on all subcontracted services inquiries. Coordinates subcontractor bids for Vertiv Services non-standard service opportunities, communicate scopes of work, and act as an escalation point for tactical service delivery issues. Support Vertiv growth initiatives by encouraging reciprocal equipment purchases and service contracts from subcontractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute SCA, PQF, and cost negotiations for all Vertiv subcontractors.
  • Manage and support new and existing service offerings as required by Vertiv Services sales including technical assistance, contract, time and material (T&M) bids/quotes and product service support presentations.
  • Establish and manage effective national coverage network for all Vertiv Services contract, T&M, and product upgrades.
  • Interface with internal sales, LBP's, customers, and end users to develop and communicate SOW to subcontractors.
  • Serve as LBP/customer contact for all subcontracted service delivery issues. Includes problem identification, vendor communication, and customer corrective action response.
  • Manage strategic service partner performance using Performance Reports, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Corrective Action Requests based on Key Performance Indicators established by Vertiv Services Field Operations.
  • Work with Vertiv Services Field Operations to conduct make/buy analysis to determine the optimum service delivery method for customer needs.
  • Support VS marketing in maintaining price revisions for subcontracted services.
  • Along with Vertiv Services LBP's and Customer Success managers, participate in customer Quarterly Business Reviews to address all subcontracted services inquiries.
  • Develop segment review to include service partner strategy, performance profile by area, competitive landscape, profitability report, rationalization opportunities, and suggestions for improvement to be presented to executive management.
  • Maintain positive, cooperative relationship with all service providers that enhances Vertiv image in the marketplace.
  • Actively encourage reciprocal product and service purchases from subcontractors.
  • After-hours escalation contact for Customer Resolution Center for alternative assignments.
  • Other duties & special projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years contract management experience, procurement, and or related discipline and work experience.
  • Understanding of critical space environments, service products, Vertiv LBP structure, and customers a plus.
  • Service Industry experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented, problem solving skills, and ability to work with all levels within organization
  • Contract bid proposal experience a plus.
  • Direct customer communication experience with strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and proven project leadership are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with minimum supervision
  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Developed proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Power Point, Access
