What You've Accomplished

You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

  • Previous leadership experience managing technical projects and/or supervision and developing teams
  • Previous technical experience associated with mechanical design, piping systems, and/or non-metallics
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying codes and standards in engineering, including ASME, AWWA, ASTM
  • Knowledge with engineering design and / or use of non-metallic materials (polymers, carbon fiber, etc.)
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with customers and regulators
Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Supervisor, Spray-In-Place Lining Solutions Engineering in Lynchburg, VA, you will lead the technical team as part of the Installed Base Component Repair and Replacement organization. Your work will include:
  • Resource planning of the engineering team and oversight of execution of group engineering tasks. Typical responsibilities include:
  • Build an effective, collaborative team spirit.
  • Develop team through training, mentoring, feedback, and work assignments.
  • Performs resource planning and directs the timely execution of engineering activities.
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Supports OpEx initiatives.
  • Works with sales team to develop scope and provide inputs to proposals.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Supervisors of other teams.
  • Ensures effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Ensures adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures. Maintains a healthy technical conscience within the team.
  • Monitors goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $110,000 - $149,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
