Job Title: Systems Admin

Location: Boulder, CO

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server virtualization, containerization, and advanced networking. This role requires a commitment to excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage server virtualization technologies (VMWare, ESXi, VMView/Horizon, etc.)
• Understand and implement containerization/orchestration solutions
• Manage and maintain Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Oversee SAN/NAS/Virtualized Data Storage systems
• Manage isolated networks and ensure secure operations
• Implement and support Cross Domain Solutions architecture
• Communicate effectively with external partners and customers, both in writing and verbally
• Work independently and as part of a team to solve complex problems

Required Qualifications:

• Currently valid Security+, CASP, CISSP, or similar certification
• Advanced networking experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PKI Certificates, XML, XSLT, JMS, and various communication protocols (SSH, TLS, TCP, UDP, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of RHEL 6+ / RHEL 8/ SE Linux
• Linux certification (Linux+ or RHCSA) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start
• Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS/Virtualized Data Storage
• Experience managing isolated networks
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to personal and corporate excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently

Certification Requirements:

• Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of start

Contract to Hire:

This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay Rate:

$95 per hour

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
