RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer (Python/Java/DevOps). The candidate must work 2 days a week onsite in Holyoke, MA.Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of application integrations between configuration management database (CMDB), IT applications and platform tools using APIs and custom integrations. Candidates provided must be pre-screened to ensure they fully meet the qualifications and experience level requirements.Primary Responsibilities:- Identify the integration needs between applications and documenting them
- Work with SMEs to design the integrations between systems to meet the requirements
- Troubleshoot issues by identifying root cause and develop a plan for problem resolution
- Identify and re-mediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner
- Design, program, implement code, test, install and configure applications
- Work in a team environment to support user and other technical staff
- Learn Company business processes and adhere to Company software and change management and IT standards
- Facilitate information sharing across multiple technical teams in both verbal and written format
REQUIREMENTS:
- A four year, Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in software development and integration
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience working with relational database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming languages
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Basic understanding of AWS cloud platform
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; excellent communication skills and team player
- Ability to independently coordinate and communicate cross team efforts to accomplish tasks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
