Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Office of Computing and Information Systems provides information technology support for the faculty, staff and students of the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
Position Summary:This position is needed to complete work on an existing ASOD website/app tied to clinical education. The position will report to the assistant dean for IT and is part-time, remote only.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution; and one year of experience in operations analysis and design systems programming or closely related area; or
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology or Networking Technology from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in operations analysis and design, systems programming or closely related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Journey level requires an additional one year of education or experience.
- Advanced level requires an additional two years of education or experience.
- Ability to interpret and write Javascript
- Previous experience with building websites and data-driven applications
