RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Tax Senior/Tax Supervisor in Waltham, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a top local accounting firm with high-end clients; The clients here are mostly very successful business, and the tax work primarily supports these business owners, their families and related business and charitable entities. The firm is technologically oriented and promotes solid work/life balance within their organization. This company offers competitive compensation and generous benefits including healthcare, 401k match, retirement plans, vacations days, summer Fridays off, etc. This position is on-site with very flexible hours.Duties:- Tax Senior/Tax Supervisor will manage and supervise tax accounting functions and reviewing staff work
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- As a Tax Senior/Tax Supervisor, you will provide guidance and support to staff members
- Analysis and review work as well as conducting tax law research
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Master's degree in Taxation or CPA or EA or pursuit on any of those is a plus
- Several years of experience in tax prep and review for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and related work
- Attention to detail and proficiency in tax software and accounting systems
- Leadership and supervisory skills to manage and train staff members
- Project management skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
