Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager Data Migrations in New York, NY.
Role Description
The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple projects and applications, demonstrating strong skills in project updates, budgets, and proficiency with tools \. This is a technical PM with hands-on experience with Data Migration Projects. Will be managing the project from concept to launch. Needs to have an understanding of how data flows in and out of database/systems in a data warehouse environment.
Skills & Requirements
• Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience to join our team.
• Data projects in Apollo use SQL Server, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, Collibra
• An ideal Project Manager should have developed Transactional, Datawarehouse, Data Lake applications (or) migrations of applications that use different databases to Snowflake.
• There is no need to have Technical Knowledge of these tools
• Project Manager should have experience in Financial Services - Banking, Insurance, Captial Markets, Alternative Investments, Private Equity etc
Hands on Experience is needed using Data bases
• Need to have technical background in Data like a Data Engineer and moved to a Project Management role would be ideal
• 5+ years in Project Management with hands-on experience managing Data Migration Projects
• Needs to have an understanding of how data flows in and out of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc) in a datawarehouse environment
• Must have experience managing Core Financial (Capital Markets) projects
