Job Summary
The Test Lab Co-op would first receive the proper required safety training, then would assist other test lab personnel with various test lab activities as needed and as able.
Responsibilities
- Assist test lab personnel with test planning and development activities.
- Assist test lab personnel with test set up activities.
- Assist test lab personnel with test monitoring.
- Assist test lab personnel with test equipment and supplies procurement.
- Assist test lab personnel with test lab documentation, procedures, resource planning, etc.
- Assist test lab personnel with test lab 5S and housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
Position Qualifications
- College student working toward an applicable technical degree (Mechanical or Electrical, Associate or Bachelor, Engineering or Technology) or other relevant degree.
- Must fulfill 24 credit hours in one calendar year.
- Must possess and maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
- Must be able to work between 15-25 hours per week.
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Highly motivated self-starter, takes ownership, eager to learn, cooperative, and reliable.
- Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of electricity and electronics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Co-op students may be eligible to work up to 4 years if enrolled in a college or university and fulfill the criteria noted above.

- Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
