Senior Community Care of Jefferson County is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Wage- $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid Driver's License in state of hire. CDL license within six (6) months of hire required if location utilizes vehicles requiring a CDL license.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of one year experience in working with the frail and elderly population.
